worn carpetbasic breakfast
the room felt a bit tired. the carpet seemed worn in spots. plus, the breakfast felt pretty basic for a four-star place it could have been better, honestly, it was underwhelming. the lift was also out of order, a bit annoying.

I found the room to be disappointing. The carpet had some Stains and it felt old. the breakfast was in another building. This required going outside, not ideal on a cold morning.

the location was amazing, right near the british museum! the room was much larger than i expected, a real treat. the staff were always ready to help with a smile.
the bathroom was a touch small.

The staff were genuinely lovely, always quick to help with directions and questions i had. their attentiveness. I always felt looked after and welcomed. wow!!!

defective elevatorsoaked carpet
The elevator barely worked during my entire stay! it was especially inconvenient on the last day. our room looked quite worn. the carpet seemed dingy and a section was completely soaked. taking a bath proved impossible unless i planned to spend an hour filling the tub. Something was wrong with the water pressure.

i liked the quiet hotel. the neighborhood felt safe, and that was important. breakfast was good also, so i felt good. location is excellent near british museum, that was very useful for sightseeing.
the carpets were a little worn, but it was not too bad.
